Detox is a server-side anti-cheat plugin for the Half-Life 2 Source Engine with automatic updating functionality, written for MetaMod: Source. The main purpose of this plugin is to provide server admins and players with a better overall protection against cheats and exploits. It is currently effective primarily against wall hacks and speed hacks, but will soon be updated to detect other forms of cheats.
After quite some time we thought it would be time to let you all know that we are still alive and Detox is definitely not dead. Our main developer sslice has been working on some new features aswell as compatibility for the Orange box Source engine (used in TF2 and mods). Due to studies and other private life things however, it means we have to divide our development time between all kinds of projects.
We hope to have the new update out before October so untill that time, stay tuned and thank you all for your support in Detox so far.

We have removed the fps_max CVAR from our rule set because of the changes Valve has made to the fps_max implementation. This should fix the problems that people have been having while using 0 for the value of fps_max.
The rule set will be automatically updated for all servers running Detox.
